Go Endeavor Go!
My bride so infrequently joins me on the Lady-D ('95 CC 25).. this evening she suggessted we go into the river and watch the launch of Space Shuttle Endeavor.
Floating about 15 miles (as the bird flys) southwest of the launch pad in the Banana River.. with the engine at idle.. and wow, the red flame rose till about 10 o'clock and the rumble rolled cross the river. So loud we no longer heard the engine, just the rumble as we watched it go higher and higher.
26+ years of watching Shuttle launches and it's still exciting to me.
