CC Owners Meeting

You guys ever thought about holding some sort of CC owners meet at a restaurant or sports bar out on the right coast somewhere? Might be fun.

We have to pick a place. I'm at Gardeners basin we could do the back bay or Trumps marina deck. We could go a little further and maybe fish the following day on the local cc boats if they are willing. I can take 4 people on mine.

I'm in for Trumps marina. Nice place to dock the boat. We could call down and reserve some slips next to each other.

There seems to be alot of response so there is a possibility that this can happen. It would be nice to get more people involved especially the senior members that have contributed time to help new cc owners with problems.. I was thinking this morning that sep is the slower month in Atlantic city and it would be nice if we could do it during the in the water boat show(Sep 6-9) My marina is at Gardeners Basin right across from Trumps Marina. We could have the meeting at the flying cloud which has 5-7 slips in front. The boats could stay overnight . I think I can arrange that. If we get lucky and the weather cooperates maybe some of us could get together for a fishing trip. There is plenty of rooms available during that time so for people who want to stay overnight it would'nt be a problem. I'm in the Hotel business so we won't have problem there. The Atlantic City airport is 20 minutes from the city and has Spirit Airlines for it's major carrier. They have brand new planes and are very economical. If we decide to do this I can help but I would like more people to come and also get a local committee to arrange the details.

Good ideas

I think that having a meeting in Atlantic City and during a boat show would help a lot, especially if some of us are thinking about bringing wives and girl friends.

I have a charter heading out on September 6th to fish the 7th so for me, the date selection is going to be critical. With a long flight, the earliest I could be out there would be Saturday September 8th. The hardest part of these things is always the scheduling!!

Great idea. AC works for me. Would be happy to use my boat as I am only 30 miles north.
