difference in years {25}

Hello CC owners. I,m looking into a 25 and have noticed a few. What I need to know is there alot of difference between a 1994 to 2006. Are newer years better or vise-versa? Now what I do see is large price change. Is it worth it to buy older and re-power or get one that someone has did some work to. Please help with what ever advise you can give.

Newer boats are straight inboard and older ones are jackshaft to i/o. The running surface of the hull has not changed and neither has the laminate schedule.

As far as power options, issues etc. look around on the site and you will find all you want to know and then some.
