Solid Smooth Entry! Solid Smooth Entry!

This is the feeling we had two weeks ago in my 35 in a 6 foot head sea running 22knts. we passed several larger sporteezzzss on the way out that seem to be taking it in the chin That wasn't the case for the Jobsite though. This was money well spent! For the first time I can say I bought the right boat. I could go on and on and you would probably get bored. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THE 35 CC.

Feel free to contact me if you have any specific questions.
    ( I'm not a dealer just a happy customer)

After the first week, I echo Taildancers assessment. Weight is the biggest notable difference, the feeling of just solid mass beneath you. I loved my 28, the the 35 is a world different. The 540s purr when running, and the boat is as stable as a rock. There is the usu. Carolina roll when on the drift, but nowhere near the rock of the 28, which is the benefit of the added weight. More room, tons of storage. Mac and team did a terrific job with the little things. Visibility is the one quirk I am getting used to, as when she gets up on plane you lose visibility for a few secs, until she levels off. This is alleviated, for me at least, in part by the Stidd seats I had installed, so I can get up higher when running. Still have a ton more to learn about performance, but couldn't be happier with my initial week with her.

    Hey W,

I've been meaning to call you and see how you are enjoying your new ride. I've been to OB a couple of times this year and have kept an eye peeled for Missprint. At the first of May I was fishing with a buddy who lives in Fairhope every body was wearing out the Specs down by the City Pier. I talked to him yesterday and he said he was tearing up the Pompano last weekend. I can't wait to get back down there.

we moved up 2 years ago from the 28 to 32 and no regrets. the one thing i can say is that if you didnt feel that you were a big boat in the 28 you will in the 32. One thing i mean by that is we have some islands that we use to beach the 28 on and hangout for the day and now with the 32 she is basically a in and out the pass boat with the occasional boose cruise. i also second the refrig. fish boxes.

I moved from a 28' to a 35'CC last year the extra space is the first thing I liked about my 35'. then came the ride ,double the weight, double the ride , also double the fuel, as we expected. the speed , ride , and performance of the 540hp cummins are a pleasant surprise we just love them ,over the performance of the 260hp Volvo's in the 28'CC the refrigerated fish boxes is my favorite option ,hate lugging ice to the boat. Fished some days I wouldn't have left the dock with the 35' because you feel safe with her. Looking forward to another good fishing season this year. also I am enjoying using my New electronics Furuno nav net system . If there is one thing I don't like about the 35' , it is cleaning the tower after using the boat ,but I found a solution to this his name is Anthony and he fits up there just fine.

    started a topic Moving Up?????

    Moving Up?????

#1) For those who have gone from the 28 to a 32 or 35..........What do you "miss" about the 28 and what do you "not miss"?

#2)What do you like and dislike most about the bigger boat?

#3)Any other impressions after having lived with both boats for a while.....like if you were going to re-engineer either boat what would you change?
Working...
