  • cc32 and up???

Now let me first start off by saying, I’m not trying to see how much people are making. Is there some secrets you guys have to afford a $250,000 to $300,000 boat, such as tax stuff or anything??? I know it does take money, but for financing it seems impossible to own one of these, even on a good salary. Any pointers would be appreciated . Thanks

I would think that for the guys buying the 32 or bigger that worrying about how to afford it is not a problem. Two owners I know (32' and 35') have pockets significantly deeper than mine. I spent 3-4 years saving dough to plunk down 30% on my used 2001 28'. I want to know what you gotta do to afford the full size custom battlewagons they keep churning out down in Wanchese.

I sometimes think of how much money I would have if I did not own a boat.

I try not to think about the entire cost of this hobby. The guys best suited for offshore fishing (in the northeast) seem to be those that own their own businesses and have flexible work schedules during the week. I'm not one of them!

At the end of the day, I just don't get any satisfaction out of paying a charter to put me on the meat. Where is the adventure in that?! Many of my boatless friends just don't get it.

For Me I Just Learned To Give Thanks To God For Whatever I Had And My Business Prospered. I Also Learned That God Loves Me More Than I Could Ever Realize And That He Wanted To Bless Me Like I Want To Bless My Own Children, But I Had To Put Him First
