I called them the other day and they told me they did not have the long sleeve shirts nor the hats and if I wanted them they could do them but I would have to order 25 of each.

sounds like a group buy in the works for both visors (not hats) and long sleeve tees! let's get the ball rolling. i'll take two xxl long sleeves and two visors. i bet pops will have something to say about some more visor wearing this year.

I just got in my order today for two of the long sleeve twill shirts, two short sleeve t-shirts, a hat, and a boarding mat. I'd like to get some long sleeve t-shirts also for cooler weather!

they would accept several orders from different owners board members together totaling at least 25 long sleeve shirts. I assume we would need to agree on a single color so they could run 25 alike.

What kind of long sleeve shirts are we talking about. I would like something light for the summer that I won't cook in.

And GOFSHN is right. I'm down on the visors as I have enough sum damage form living in florida for about 30 years. He doesn't understnad that yet. But Pop knows best.

I called Parrott Canvas

today and spoke with Gretchen about the possibility of a group of us ordering together to make their minimum order requirement for a run of long sleeve T shirts with the Carolina Classic Logo. She was very pleasant and told me that Mac is coming out with a new logo that we might like. I guess they are very close to releasing it for the shirts. She agreed to look into the status of the new logo and will eMail me a copy that I can post to this site if it is far enough along to be considered in our group purchase. She understands that we are looking for long sleeve T shirts. She said she has white long sleeve T's with no pocket on the front in stock. Other colors are possible. We would need to agree on one color that worked for all of us. We would be able to specify our sizes. I'll post more info when she gets back to me with prices, logo info, etc. - she said it will take a day or two. They would prefer not to handle multiple orders (i.e she does not really want to deal with multiple transactions on a relatively small order). A single order would be best. She said that it would help if one of us would handle putting together a ship list with shipping addresses, shirt sizes & quantities. We could have one person collect all the checks (made out to Parrott canvas) and send them in all at the same time. Parrott would ship directly to each of us using our ship list. A few questions for you guys.

1. What color can we agree on? I'm completely flexible here.
2. Do we have enough interest to meet or exceed 25 shirts?
3. They are running about 3 weeks on delivery. OK with you guys?
4. I am willing to handle the spreadsheet and check collection. Are you guys comfortable with that (since most of us don't really know each other.) You would need to send me your shipping address and a check made out to Parrott Canvas for your total. (I'm also OK if one of you guys wants to do this instead of me.)

I'm in for 2 in XL and white is good.

I have always been a long sleeve t-shirt fan and wear them all the time (I own as many as I do short sleeve). They are warmer when it is cool, practically as cool as a regular T when it is warm (if you push the sleeves up) and when it really gets blazing hot you can cover-up. I'm Black headed with a freckledy red head complection and I will toast if the sun is too bad.
