I have a 2001 new to me 28' Carolina Classic with twin 4 cyl. Cummins turbos. What kind of fuel consumption can I expect at the various cruise RPMs?

28 Fuel Consumption

I had a 2000 28 before I moved up to the 32. The cummins website has a fact sheet you can print out as to fuel consumption at various speeds. Obviously it is not 100% accurate for any boat but gives you a great idea as to the best RPM's for maximum distance per gallon.

I can tell you from my expierence we traveled 70 miles to the canyons, stayed overnight and trolled the next day and never had any fuel concerns.
