  • Oregon Inlet 11/20

Had a great day on Sunday. Put my first Wahoo on the boat. Fished some beautiful water 77 degrees but really rough. The wind was against the Gulf Stream so the seas were 7 to 8 ft. in the stream and 3 to 4 out of it. But the tuna were wide open couldn't get the whole spread out before we were hooked up. Got real lucky on the Wahoo landed him with a 80 pound mono leader.

Way to Go Brian.. Looks like a great day. Do you keep your boat down there for the winter? I'm thinking about running mine to Hatteras next yr to fish the Fall/Spring.

I am really beginning to hate you southern guys. I'm getting ready to pull the boat for the winter and you are going strong with the tuna.

        Great catch by the way.

          Tuna fishing is hot

Split Decision, just thought I would throw a little fuel on the fire with a pick from Wednesday. We had our limit (12) at 11:30 and on our way to the dock. This was our 4th trip in the past 3 weeks with limits each time and as of today there still going strong.

                Pirates Cove

I keep my boat at Pirates Cove on D dock. I had a 25 Parker befor I got my CC and I kept it at Broad Creek. We have probable crossed paths at the marina. I have seen your boat there.

I'm in Wilmington, and it's slow here. Can I get a short term rental in Wanchese for a couple of months? Thinking of moving my 28 North. How long will the YFT be in the area?
