  • Bloody Friday

Ran off for a day troll in the Hudson. We found some 73.9 water south - between the Hudson and the Toms - went 3-4 on longfin and 0-4 on whites. Beautiful day on the water and probably my last opportunity to the canyons this year.

          Tom,

It was like a lake out there all day - absolutley beautiful. There were some swells, but they were not even noticable due to the long periods in between. We found the nice water late, and there were three other boats around us. One had 3 whites on a once - lost them all - and everyone had the longfin pick when they came up. Picked up at 3:30 - we were 96 nM from the inlet - and ran in - about 5:00 a SSW wind started and was about 20 kts by the time we got to the inlet. Ran at 22kts all the way in - no problem at all.
