  • Friday at the Baltimore

Went to the tip of the Baltimore Canyon Friday, got into a school of 60# Yellow Fin. had as many as 4 on at once. Had the limit in 2 hours and were releasing, what a hoot.
Nice trip out, got ugly on the way in, 4 to 6 footers for 60 miles and all from the wrong direction. The boat took it with no problem and ask for more.

        Blue water near me

WE took it all in the northeast - we have lovely blue water and its pushed up above the shelf.

We cleaned up in 50 fathoms 15 miles north of west atlantis on Friday - 2 wahoo, a dozen albies and 2 yellowfin in 6 hours of fishing before I decided discretion was the better part of valor and pulled the plug with a noreaster coming on.

We made it 15 miles before we got spanked. Very sporty conditions coming through the Dump and Fingers; the wind blew up so fast the waves we're not very big but the wind and rain squalls cut the tops off of them. I was lucky and was able to run 20-22 knots more or less in a beam sea.

In case you don't know it - this is one great rough water boat.....
