    Nice Pics

It's nice to see another guy in the general neighborhood.

      Bill Chaser,

I will be moving to the Holly Ridge area in about a year. Seems to be no good inlets/marinas in that area. Would prefer to keep the boat as close to home as possible, but it looks like Swansboro/Morehead may be the only games in town. Are you familiar with that area? Any suggestions?

        Catch Basin,

I would highly recomend the Moorehead/ Beaufort Area. Inlet is excellent, and has great proximity to many grounds north south and east. there are a multitude of marinas. I really like mine in my neighborhood. Very protected and 25mins to C-Buoy from lines off. Also has a clubhouse with pool. Check out the Moorehead Beaufort Yacht Club. Slips for Sale and rent. I rent because it is so Cheap, and I am looking at a bigger boat. I pay $200 a month for everything including water and electric.

          Winter rates and care?

If I ran my boat down there in Nov, do they have both winter rates and some sort of boat watcher for hire program?

I'm toying with trying to leave my 28 in N C this winter and try and come down 3-4 long weekends to get a couple days fishing in during the long, cold, dark...

I was thinking about doing the same thing. Considering somewhere near Oregon Inlet. I don't know if it would happen this year or not.

Gentlemen, most places do have winter rates, nad there are several excellent service companies, other than regular marina personel that can look after your boat. These services range, from making sure it is still floating to taking you fishing. I would highly recomemd The Bilfish Network, with Willl Johnson and Daryl Brewer.
