don't even think about Veatch. Probably about a 300 nm run for you one way.

How did you make out on your last run?

              Veatch is SSE of Nantucket

102 nmiles from Falmouth, Mass on a 168 heading.

WE were 0 for 1 on a white marlin; 3 small rat yellowfin, dropped a nice, unseen tuna at dawn (bigeye??) and had too many mahi, a few of which were in the 15# range.

              Very slow trip.

                  Awesome weather

went out in a dying 5' swell Friday; glassed out Friday night to 2-3's with an occaisonal 4 footer. 2nd trip in a row I've been able to sleep comfortably.

Fishing was good; albeit mostly small yellowfin. 16 knockdowns.6 fish on Friday and probably 30+ knockdowns, steady triples, quad's and 5 bangersut on Saturday morning.

The majority were rat yellowfin - 25 pounders; but there were enough 40 pounders and one 60+ pounder mixed in which made it interesting.

The only dissapointment was no billfish or nightbite.
