just fished the biggest oahu tuna tournament of the year. Competed against 200 boats. On the first day we took second palce for wahoo had a 43 lber, also had 2 other wahoo and 3 skipjack tuna averaged 24 lbs each. Day 2 we had a 140lb yellowfin hit 15 minutes before stop fishing and were able to boat it and make weigh in. However had many large size yellowfin, one boat took a triple strike and landed all three, a 197, 210 and 225lbs respectively. He walked away with 18,000 in cash. there were 10 yellowfin over 200lbs caught in the tourney. And guys, all fish caught within 12 miles of land!
