I was wondering if you (or any other Gulf Coasters out there) have had a chance to check out the Orinsky(sp). (for every one else it is an 888ft Aircraft Carrier they sunk out from Pensacola on 05/17/06). I was wondering if it was attracting anything yet.

i have not been to the orinsky yet due to the fact that i enjoy bluewater fishing more then bottom fishing. but i will go by there next year to see what she look like on the bottom machine. -
They sank it in 212 ft of water they say the deck is at about 160 ft and the top of the superstructure is at 85 ft. I read somewhere it is the largest object in the world ever placed(intentionally) to form an artificial reef ever. I am a rookie and don't really know but I would have thought anything that big would attract all kinds of action (not just on the bottom).LukeComment
