Here are a few pics from Sunday/Monday overnight

The wahoo came on the troll, a 5' fish & my first. We boated 7 yellowfin during the night down near the 100 sq., busting off more fish than we took. Insane night, loads of bait & all tuna bites came in multiple hookups.

A few boats went home Sunday night as the weather forecast was downgraded severely... the Carolina stayed out & brought home the goods!!

      I wimped

and idled for home at midnight; picked up and ran at 1st light at 5.

Curious how the 32 ate those seas up? I've been down below once too often in thre 28 and its a very long 18 knot ride northwards.

nice hoo; I'll bet that t-shirt will never be the same - those baby's have some serious slime

It was blowing 20-25 out of the east, our run back was a 334* heading so no issue really, we started running in the canyon @23, had to back it down to 20 as the seas built to 5-8'...I was curious how big they really where,so I checked the local weather buoy. At 10 AM the average wave height was 6.2ft, 5 second period, not pretty!!

Someone asked me when I would go bigger and my honest answer was there is really no reason, as this boat can take WAY more than I can, and still do it with reasonable comfort.
