  • 32cc Tournament Win

Fished a small tournament over the weekend based on Cuttyhunk Island, MA. What was supposed to be a 2 day event basically turned into a one day because of the weather. We left the dock a 1:30am on Sunday (8/19) and found a good break just short of West Atlantis. Had a double take down resulting in 2 Albacore (31 and 42.5lbs), then a sandwich sized Mahi (counted for points) and finally a 52.5lb. Wahoo. Only 2 boats weighed in fish, our 32' Carolina and a 39 ft. Hatteras.

Congrats on the wahoo just wondering how far did you have to go that you need to bring diesel in cans? What kind of range do you get with the 32?

We had brought the extra diesel based on doing an overnight and just as a fall back precaution, planning to stay out as long as we had to for the tournament. We never used it. The range will vary greatly based on sea conditions and cruise speed, but an over night canyon run, out 100+nm is no problem.
