Alright, we have a perfect forecast for tomorrow! The fuel is topped off and she is rigged and ready to go. This will be a combo trip....tuna/tiles somewhere between the Hudson and Wilmington (haven't decided yet).

Call me 68 if you are out tomorrow. I'll post when we return.

Fished the Wilmington yesterday. Very productive........ lots of small (5 - 10 lb) mahi and small (30 lb) yellowfin.

Had several multiple hook-ups. . . never went more than 15 minutes without a fish on

      its worth a shot!!!

I didn't come across anything bigger

There was a 50 lb yellowfin boated at the Cigar yesterday

A few bluefin .. i believe in the 40 - 50 inch range boated at the 28 mile wreck.

also picked up a few mahi there on the ride in.....

I know the inshore is spotty .... a few of my buddys fished the cigar, 28 mile wreck, lempkys, lobster claw, and other spots and didn't even get a knock down.

My and my Brother (Jason & Eric) arrived at the North Tip of the Hudson at 9:30 am on Friday. Boated the first yellowfin (60 lbs.) at 10:00 and had fairly steady action all day. We finished the day at 3:30 pm going 5 for 8 on tuna(missing another 50 lb. plus yellowfin at the gaff) and one chicken mahi. We also lost one gaffer dolphin. The tally was 4 yellowfin (25-60 lbs), 1 longfin (45 lbs), and 1 mahi.

We trolled 7 rods using two rainbow-squid bars on the long riggers, black/purple squid, green/yellow smoker daisy chain, green machine behind bird WWB, single green/yellow smoker, ballyhoo.....every lure had a fish on at least once. Sweet spot on trolling speed seemed to be 6.5 knots.

Water temp was 67-68.5. Water green/blue. Seas were flat all day until the ride home was 2-3 foot. One fish we caught near the tip on the west wall and the rest came from the east side of the elbow. There were only 4 boats there all day including the Canyon Runner.
