Fished a wreck in 90 foot of water on Saturday for 30 nice size sea bass. The three of us probably had 30 throw backs. All caught on clam or squid. Water temp outside barnegat inlet was 49 in early morning and 56 at 15 miles out. It warmed up to 60 by 2:00 pm when we left.
A dive boat anchored up right next to us while we were fishing.
Chatter on the radio was that the bunker schools were thick all day long off of the bathing beach (just south of seaside, nj).
