This sucker was the our first fish in the boat during the 2003 season . . . 270# BFT.

Did not think we would grab anything big since it was early in the season (late May) - especially a BFT. Drug him over the side with what we had on board: a 36" gaff and a dockline . . .

What a great fish. I caught a 127 lb yellow fina couple of years ago...absolutely one of the top ten thrills of my life.
