We fish out of Cape May, NJ. We live in Ocean City, NJ. I guess the question is why do we travel to Cape May to fish. It takes us less time to reach the Inlet even driving to Cape May. We are 5 minutes from the Cape May Inlet. When in Ocean City it took us 45 minutes from our dock to Great Egg, Plus we had to wait for a bridge opening.
My wife Chris and I are usually the only ones on the boat although we do have friends and family make an occasional trip. We fish almost exclusively offshore at the Baltimore, Wilmington or Poormans canyon. We try to make each tip an overnighter laying over in the Canyon's. Our boat along with our picture was used in a SeaTow ad that ran nationally in quite a few fishing magazines.
