Heading out to Toms tuesday morning for an overnighter. Can't pass up that weather report. 68-71.

[Split Decision]

Well it was not a good trip. Went to Toms and the water was bad. Decided to head south and started to see whales and mark bait around south toms and started to troll south. Made it to Carteret and went to the 500 line, still bad water. Kept moving south to the Lindenkohl and set up for the chunk on the south side. Had some squid and tons of jellies in the top 50'. Moved 6 miles south and set up again. Less jellies but more squid. Still no fish. Started trolling south in the morning and water was getting worse. Went just south of Spencer and trolled the deep around some dolphin feeding and still no fish.Called it quits at 9 and headed in.

I have never seen water this bad. I would have been happy with green water but this was brown. Bay water was better.

When I got back I checked the reports and found we went the wrong way. They loaded up between toms and hudson. Oh well, maybe next time.
