I have a Norhtstar 952XD DGPS color unit I am removing off my boat. The unit has a new battery installed by Northstar about 1-1/2 yrs ago and has the latest software upgrades (4.12) It is in excellent shape and will come complete with the unit & cover, antenna, GPS/DGPS switch, all power & interface cables & antenna cable ( which will be missing 1 connector as I have to cut it off to remove the wire from the boat) I do not have the original box or the bracket to gimbal mount it as the unit is flush mounted in my dash. Instruction/owners manual also included.

$925 or best offer.

I also have a few Navionics chips for southern L.I. and a Canyon chip for southern L.I. canyons available.

Chris, What are you replacing it with if you don't mind me asking, I have the same unit, but was thinking of getting another one for the tower, I had a Furuno 1650DF up there, and s*&t the bed, Might just want to put another 952 up top.

With a small dash modification I am installing a Norhtstar 6000i, 8.4" screen.

just wondering what you did with your new northstar . i have the same unit and am trying to decide how to configure a new unit down with a unit in the tower . the original set up is not compatible with a tower unit . and all this new equipment is big bucks when you integrate it all together . any suggestions would be helpful .

Check out the thread in Electronics to see the install of the 6000I. I am toying with the idea of installing the 6" unit on the tower & also installing a network sounder. Right now I have a Simrad CE33 on the tower but I like the interfacing capabilties of the network system.
