NEW OWNER CC28 Good Mojo

Hello from Stuart Florida, the Sailfishing Capital. Received my Christmas present to myself on Thanksgiving this year and couldn't be happier with the choice thus far; although I have yet to find the live bait well pump switch!!!

The new 28 has been to the Bahamas and back twice now with now without an event. The boat performed flawlessly in a 1/4 head sea NW 15-20kt wind two weeks ago. I set the throttles at 15kts and she just set into it and took us home.

So far we have been throught species list including wahoo, sailfish, kingfish, dolphin, snapper, grouper, bonita, baracudas and sharks. We love the boat!!!

I have 315hp Yanmars which are sweet but I will need a good fuel mgmt system - thinking of getting the NAVMAN 3200; any suggestions?

I put a set of flo scans 7000 on my 28 with volvo diesels , they work within 2 gals error

Welcome to the CC family. I have a '98 28' and if it is the same set up - you turn on the raw water switch on the dash and simply open the fitting in the bait well - the water should start flowing.

Thanks! I had a friend of mine on the boat yesterday that figured it out just before we caught live bait to go sailfishing...It had to be that simple! Duh!!! :oops:
