Here is a pic of my helm layout. It has 2 simrad CX44 displays,IS-15 depth only, AP-25 autopilot and Icom 602 radio. That was the only place that I could mount the radio but it should'nt be to bad once I remote mount the Mic to the left side out of the way of the wheel.

Tom,

Beautiful installation - with all that equipment it almost looks like an airplane cockpit. Best of luck with her.

who would have thought a radio would require such a large footprint. I've pulled and rigged my antenna and antenna wire; still have not settled on the final 502 location.

Tom,

Beautiful work!! The layout looks great. Are those fuel gauges in between the 2 10" Simrads?

They are the fuel gauges for the saddle tanks. They were where the AP 25 is now. We moved them to make room. the main tank gauge is slightly blocked by the wheel right between the engine displays.

I have'nt mounted the EPIRB yet. I will look for a spot this weekend.

that's actually the same one I purchased. I am probably going to find a spot on my hardtop....I have a 2005 28 Albemarle without a tower on it. When I get a raft, I'll probably have a challenge finding a place for that.
thanks,
Kevin

Wow thats beautiful and uncluttered. I have the old mechanical cummins engines and have no less then 18 separate guages, including twin flow scans, twin tempt and boost, sea temp guage...I am thinking about removing the guages for the saddle tanks...they really aren't needed, either their full or empty. Sure would be nice to have those sweet digital guage panels

Those displays are nice. The info they give you is endless. I now have to tie them into NMEA so I get more fuel burn data like MPG so I can find the best cruise speed. I also want to add gear temp and pressure. The C series is standard but the B's are an option. All in due time.

I finally got the autopilot calibrated. I cant wait to try that out. I never had one before.
