Tom,
That's O.K. Better question, what did you buy for yourself?

I ordered
2- simrad CX44-e 10'' displays
6' 12kw radar antenna
simrad AP-25 autopilot with the contour following
Icom 602
16' digital antenna 1 for vhf 1 for cellphone with amp
simrad IS-15 digital depth with shoot through ducer
I am using my simrad combi-c ducer off my other boat that I will flush mount when I get the boat home.
It should be about 2 weeks to get everything in. I hope.
I hate going in that place. I can't leave without buying something. Like a kid in a candy store.
I am selling my simrad eq-42 display if anyone is interested. I have a friend who might want it but he is not sure yet.

Are you using both 10" dislays @ the helm area or is one going up in the tower.
Will a 15" screen fit @ the helm area?
I guess you are planning the install yourself.
BTW great choices of equiptment!!
Good luck,
Chris

Both 10" screens are going on the helm. 1 for fishfinder and 1 for plotter and radar. I will add another 7" screen in the tower at a later date.
I originally was going to put a 10" and a 15" on the helm but it would not fit without major changes to the helm. Mac changed the helm for me and future boats. It had a 11 X 34" area for electronics that was divided into 3 sections. It is now 1 flat area to fit the larger screens.

Tom,
I guess you figured out how to move posts!!
I am glad to hear Mac changed the dash. I felt the segmented dash limited your choices in equipment. Hope all goes well for you.
I am looking foward to some real great feedback on your boat. I myself am hoping to move up to the 32 in the next 1-2 years.

Tom,
Do you know the dimensions of the dash since Mac has flattened it to one surface?
Just thinking and wishing for my next move :D

Chris
He did tell me and I think he said it was 11 X 34.
Go for it. I don't want to be the only 32 owner here.

Tom,
Where do you fish out of? I would love to take a trip with you to get the real feel of the 32. Hope I am not being too pushy. Let me know.
Thanks,
Chris

Chris, I will keep the boat in Toms River NJ for now untill a slip becomes available in Seaside Park. We have a 15 mile run out to Barnegate Inlet. I would be glad to have you aboard one trip but it is probably a long ride for you.

Well I called Consumers today and all of the electronics are in except the radar antenna. I am going down on Monday to pick them up. I hope the radar antenna comes in on time.
Time is getting short.

Tom,
What is your plan as far as installation? Are you running the boat home with handheld equipment and installing electronic in N.J. or is Mac rigging the boat for you?

actually I am going to rig the boat myself with my father and a good friend in Mac's yard. Mac said he would block it up so we can work on it and launch it when we are finished. I am trying to make sure that I have everything I need. What a pain that is. Going to get a 1 way van rental to haul all the crap down then drive the boat home.
Another friend is planning to meet us there for the trip home. He wants to go fishing down there but I don't think their will be any room for fishing gear. We will see.

The boat should be ready sometime in april. I hope that their are no holdups. The wait is long enough.
I just got all the electronics and am going through everything trying to figure out how I am ever going to get this all installed in 3 days. we will see.
