Airmar P 79 Transducer

Has anyone with a CC25 inboard installed a in hull transducer such as the airmar P 79 and what is your opinion. I am losing bottom at speeds greater than 15 knots with my thru hull transducer and I am thinking about using the in hull for cruising only. Any comments would be appreciated.

I have been watching your two posts about this hoping for some answers as well. I want to do away with the transom mount. I hope someone comes along and answers. May have to call the factory and talk with Mac or Keith.

I have spoke to Keith at CC and he advises locating the transducer between the engine mounts inboard of the stringer. The cc25 has a false floor in this area, therefore I don't think a thru the hull is possible. The in hull models may due the job, but I have yet to hear from anyone that has one on the CC25. As you are well aware there isn't much space to work with.
