Just installed the new ap24 autopilot.
Pretty amazing unit. It just about does everything for you.
Even follows the edges that you program into the unit thru the fishfinder and gps. Was only $200.oo more than the older system which is the ap16.
Cost me $4200.00 installed.
Is very user friendly.

Capt, I just purchased an AP28. Where did they locate the pump and computer?

I installed the computer and the pump behind the helm, the compass in the head beneath the sink.
It was an easy installation. Do one item at a time.
Tight Lines,

Thanks Capt, I'll be installing it today. What kind of tubing did you use?

I use the same tubing Carolina Classic provides.

Completed Simrad AP28 install. I works perfectly too! It took me 7hrs and then an hour to sea trial but really worth it. I also purchased th Simrad WR20 Bluetooth remote. It controls the A/P, GPS, VHF and it pairs to my cellphone. Holy s***!
