FLIR Night Vision

We have been discussing FLIR night vision cameras in the general forum. Installation info and pics would be appreciated. I already ordered the fixed Navigator for a 2007 28. We are discussing various temporary and permanent mounting options.

I was also interested in the FLIR night vision and was not sure how this would work on my 28 cc it seems to look good from what I have seen so far, Did you get a price on this yet?

I got the fixed mount Navigator II for approx. $4200 from Consumers Marine. I'm thinking about mounting it in place of the compass on the upper station. We're probably going to make a wooden template to fine-tune the downward angle, then recreate the finished product in StarBoard.

Forgot one thing...don't try to flush mount with the Seaview adjustable wedge for the FLIR. That mount only fits the bottom of their 5" mini-tower, which has a FLIR pattern on the top of the mount. It does not fit the camera, as the base and the upper mounting surface are two different sizes.
