Electronics in the Tower

I want to put a chartplotter and sounder in the tower of my CC28. I heard that a sounder in the tower will interfere with one down below and I would have to turn one off. Other than networked units with only one transducer, is there a way to fix this?

I am thinking of putting a 7" display combo unit in the tower. Any recommendations?

It will work fine as long as you use a different frequency on each one. 50 on one and 200 on the other.
