32 rigging 4/14

After 2 days of work, Tony & I have accomplished a few things:

1. depth/temp smart sensor thru hull is faired & cut on the keel line aft, near the rear bilge pump

2. The thru hull underwater light housings have been installed

3. 2-16' digital antennas mounted

4. 3-GPS antenna mounts installed on buggy top

5. Radar array, partially mounted, signal cable routed thru hardtop, tower leg & back to helm (what a bitch!)

6. Helm dash cut out to accept custom teak panel (thanks Tom!)

7. AP 26 autopilot head installed, relocated fuel gauge to above throttle

8. VHF radio & external speaker mounted, AM/FM radio remote relocated to top of dash

9. ACR spotlight control mounted

10. microwave removed & 3 circuit A.C. panel mounted & 8 circuit D.C. panel mounted.


Lots more to do...just figured I'd give you guys an update. Pics attached!!

why did you replace the existing AC/DC panels and remove the microwave?

I don't use mine often, but it sure is good to have hot coffee at 1st light in the canyons.....

I added 3 more AC circuits & 8 DC circuits for add'l loads I will be installing (lights,pumps...)

The microwave was removed merely for wire pulling access & will be reinstalled when all is complete. I need to heat my egg sandwiches up in the morning after 12 hrs of night chunking!!
