Getting ready to put an in-hull transducer in my 28. Anyone have any clues on where to put it and how well they work?

I will be installing a 2k in hull in the 32, centerline in the engine room.

I think that location would work very well on the 28 also, just as long as there is enough space.

is that a false floor on the centerline between the motors? It doesn't look like it has the same v as the boat and my brother said in front of the motors and I know that has to be a false floor because it is 4 or 5 inches higher than the other side of the bulkhead. Would right in front of the water intake between the water intake and the batteries below the fish box be an ok place to put one? Or would there be too much disturbance because of the jackshafts making noise as well as the disturbance the water intake will cause directly behind the transducer.
Man I should have went with a thru-hull.
