I don't know if you're joking or not since it is about 20 degrees outside and the buoy you linked to is showing 18 foot waves.
If you are serious about doing this soon, I was planning on a tilefish/deep wreck fishing trip in mid April but I need all of March to get the boat ready.

Na, just kidding but I will be making some trips for them as soon as I can.
The Carolina should eat those waves, don't ya think?

I've never tilefished before, so over the Winter, I bought three new Penn Senator 3/0 mainly for this purpose. I'm looking forward to the first nice weekend in April.

Chris
Is'nt that why you bought the bigger boat?
I wonder how the snap roll would be drifting?
How many kilos do you think to hold bottom?

and it was a bit sporty out on the southside - lots o' white out there.... and oh yeah just a bit chilly when I left the CACA mothership for charming Marriot by the LIE.
Man this place is flat ;)
