Dreaming of the CC 28

My name is Tim. Don't have a CC yet but have been looking at them for quite some time. As of now I have a Polar 2300 wa.

I did the same thing, dreamed for about 5 years or more. I just picked up a 2001 28' last October. It feels good to go from the guy staring at all the 28 Carolina Classics as they go by to owning the boat that turns people's heads.
I spent most of my time looking at boats.com. Made lots of calls and some offers. I ended up offering 120k for a boat listed for 147k. He turned me down so I gave him my number in case he changed his mind. Called back 3-4 weeks later and we settled for 125k. Fully equipped diesel boat, 330hp, 250hours, with all the bells and whistles. Felt like I was stealing. Hope a good deal comes your way or better yet get a brand spanking new one from the factory.

Saw 2 28's for sale in the Virginia Pilot today. Look like promising deals.

Congrats on your neww ride and great deal. The big thing I am waiting on now is for the SWMBO to give the nod. I am looking at both new and used. I am hoping to be receiving some info soon. Again congrats!
