I'm going to try a couple of favorite honey holes 5-10 miles out of Barnegat Inlet on Sunday. Maybe try for a striper if we see a bunker school. I'm happy to share locations if we do well. Give a call on 68.

Good talking with you. I had some problems with my radio at the end of our conversation...cutting in and out...something else to fiddle with this winter.
We managed one 28 inch bass inside the north jetty at 3:30pm. Nice cap to a nice November day on the water. It sounding like you put a few bass in the boat.

Nice chatting with you also. I tried to call you when we left around 1:30 but I guess you could'nt here me. We had 1 short, 1 keeper an lost a keeper by the boat. One of my crew had to get back by 2:30. We need to hook up on a canyon run next year.

Bullish, just curious about what you got your bass on by the jetty. Of all the years I've been fishing and going out the inlet, I have never fished the rocks

Me either, my Dad caught it on a "crippled herring" metal lure. It is about 5-6 inches long. I must confess that he snagged it under the dorsal fin. I've never seen a bass stolen that way. Regardless, I was with him last year drifting the north jetty when he caught two shorts using this lure.
I'll probably give the bass an honest try this weekend with clams, eels, and trolling. Not sure which day yet. My boat comes out the weekend before Thanksgiving so this is my last fishing weekend.
